Colonel Ashish Sharma

Interviewing Officer

Colonel Ashish Sharma, an alumnus of the National Defence Academy had an illustrious career in the Indian Army for over 30 years.
Besides the command of his parent unit in the Army Air Defence, and several other challenging and prestigious instructor appointments during his service, he has a rich experience of 6 years in the realm of Officers' selection.

He has served as the Deputy President of 21 SSB Bhopal and 31 SSB Kapurthala. In addition, he has been the Director Recruiting dealing with Officers' selections at the Army Headquarter New Delhi.
He has a vast experience of conducting more than 7500 interviews as an interviewing officer.

Captain Bhupendra Joshi

Psychologist

Captain Bhupendra Joshi, an alumnus of Sainik school Rewa, got commissioned in the Indian Navy on 01 Jan 1991.

During his incredible career spanning over 30 years, he served on various frontline war ships such as INS Khanjar, INS Vibhuti, INS Sagar Dhwani, INS Kripan and INS Gharial. He was a Navigation and Direction instructor at School of Navy and commanded INS Malpe.

He has the rare distinction of being a Psychologist in various Naval Selection Boards for past 17 years and has a wealth of experience of assessment of about 30,000 candidates resulting in selection of 1550 Officers which he expertly utilizes for coaching of SSB aspirants.

Lieutenant Colonel Kaninika Thakur

Group Testing Officer

Lieutenant Colonel Kaninika Thakur, an alumnus of Officers' Training Academy had a remarkable innings in the Indian Army for 20 years.

In addition to handling various challenging assignments in life threatening situations, she has extensive experience in the field of Officers' Selection at SSB.

She served at 19 SSB Allahabad as a GTO and garnered rich experience of assessment of over 7000 candidates during her tenure. For the past over a decade she has been actively involved in mentoring of young SSB aspirants. Post her Indian Army career she has dedicated herself to structured on line coaching of SSB aspirants and has given numerous selections.

Our Teaching Style

Group Testing Technique

At SSB Coaching, we prepare our candidates for the Group Testing Technique by providing them with real life experience using virtual medium.

We run the complete GTO Test Battery comprising of all 9 tasks namely GD, GPE, PGT, GOR, HGT, Lecturette, IOs, CT & FGT. Our candidates experience the real time test conditions and tasks created by qualified GTO ex SSB which are just like the ones administered during real time assessment in SSB.

Our GTO possesses extensive experience and utilizes the same for assessment of each candidate and coaches and mentors them according to their performance. We strive to make sure our candidates are well-prepared and ready to excel on the GTO ground in the SSB, equipping them with the knowledge and skills required to get recommended.

Psychological Assessment

At SSB Coaching, we offer real time psychological assessment and personalized feedback to each and every candidate online.

We administer the complete Psychological test battery comprising of TAT, WAT, SRT and SD which is assessed by a qualified Psychologist ex SSB. Each candidate is given one-on-one feed back on his/her performance on the test battery and guidance/ tips to improve further.

Our experienced psychologist utilizes his vast experience to assess, mentor and coach candidates and provide them with an accurate and comprehensive understanding of their performance, during the course so that they succeed in their ultimate aim to get recommended.

Interview Technique

At SSB Coaching, each of our candidates participate in a mock interview with an Interviewing Officer ex SSB on exactly the same pattern as the SSB.

The Personal Interview gives them a feel of a real interview taking place under test conditions and puts to rest any anxieties. Our one-on-one feedback and coaching sessions are designed to help the candidates develop the confidence and poise needed to succeed when facing an interview.

Our Interviewing officer with his wealth of experience provides step-by-step guidance right from preparation to understanding the questions and delivering the perfect answers during the interview to nail a recommendation at the SSB.
